OUR STORY
Ceres Air exists because American agriculture needed a different option: a drone company built around U.S. realities such as scale, performance, local support, responsiveness to customers, and a clear path to domestic manufacturing.
THE PROBLEM We Solved
Farmers were relying on equipment that wasn't designed for U.S. operations. Support options were scattered. Timelines were opaque. And when standards shifted, there was nowhere to turn for straightforward answers.
We believed there had to be a better way.
Our APPROACH
We started by listening to operators, not with assumptions. Every product idea, every improvement, every test begins with input from growers, dealers, and pilots in the field.
Then we build with purpose. Our innovation isn't about novelty, it's about usability, compliance, and performance that holds up over acres and seasons.
We own the hard questions. We listen when things don't work as they should, and fix them. Fast turnarounds. Real people.
What We're BUILDING
We're building aerial systems that:
- Work in real agricultural environments
- Can be supported long term
- Have a documented path to increasing U.S. manufacturing
- Give growers confidence, not mystery
Black Betty Stacked is the first expression of that with measurable performance and a roadmap toward higher domestic content over time.
Led by American Farmers AND TECHNOLOGISTS
JOSH ROBINSON
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Josh saw a gap in agricultural aerial tools early, not because of headlines, but because of field experience.
From the beginning, he made two choices most founders avoid:
- Be honest about where we are today
- Publish a roadmap instead of hiding it
Josh oversees manufacturing strategy, compliance planning, and the roadmap to American content. He doesn't dodge hard questions, and he doesn't outsource accountability.
What Josh BELIEVES
American agriculture deserves clarity, not chaos.”
Josh lives in St. Louis, loves strategic farming tech, and is committed to building products that serve long-term — not just hype.
ARTHUR CHEN
CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF PRODUCT
Arthur builds systems that perform under real use, not just in controlled environments. From software to hardware, he focuses on reliability, precision, and field durability.
Where some engineers chase novelty, Arthur asks one question first: Does this make the operator's job easier?
He leads all product engineering, testing protocols, and integration strategy.
What Arthur BELIEVES
Performance isn’t a spec. It’s what works at speed and over acres.”
Arthur calls Seattle home, balances work with family life, and brings technical rigor to every decision.
EARNING OUR STRIPES
Ceres Air is not a marketing slogan. It's a stance.
We believe in American agriculture. We show the work. And we keep earning our stripes, one milestone, one season at a time.
